VENTTK Air Cooled Screw Chiller: Low Temperature Process Cooling for European Industrial Facilities

Project Overview

Demanding industrial process cooling requires stable low temperature coolant supply, putting high requirements on chiller reliability, refrigeration performance and component stability. Standard chillers struggle to sustain steady output under sub zero fluid working conditions and may face capacity attenuation in long run low temperature operation. To satisfy strict low temperature cooling requirements for a European industrial facility with end user based in Belgium, VENTTK delivered two custom built air cooled screw chillers.

Each unit provides 117 kW cooling capacity, designed for 25 ℃ inlet water and 20 ℃ outlet water working condition. Equipped with Hanbell screw compressors and R404A refrigerant, the chiller adopts 400V/3Ph/50Hz power supply. It delivers consistent low temperature circulating cooling, guaranteeing stable process operation for the end user’s industrial site.

Project Features

Industrial low temperature cooling scenarios impose heavy loads on refrigeration systems. Conventional chillers often suffer unstable temperature output, insufficient compression performance and higher failure risk under sub zero coolant operating points, which may interrupt production workflows.

VENTTK customized air cooled screw chiller addresses these low temperature challenges. Reliable Hanbell screw compressors match R404A refrigerant to maintain stable refrigeration capacity under 20 ℃ outlet water condition. As air cooled type, the unit removes the need for supporting cooling tower infrastructure, simplifying system layout.

Fully adapted to 400V/3Ph/50Hz European power standard, the two unit set runs reliably without extra power conversion. The system maintains precise low temperature coolant circulation, reduces unplanned downtime caused by cooling deviation, and lowers long term operation and maintenance costs for industrial production.
