VENTTK Dry Cooler Supports Efficient Heat Rejection for an AI Field Application in South Korea

Aug 24, 2026

Project Overview

The rapid development of artificial intelligence is driving the deployment of increasingly powerful computing equipment, creating higher requirements for thermal management and heat rejection systems. In AI field applications, reliable cooling infrastructure is essential to maintain stable equipment operation while managing continuous heat loads.

For an AI field project in South Korea, VENTTK supplied a compact Dry Cooler designed for water-based heat rejection. With a cooling capacity of 7 kW and a 220V single-phase power supply, the system provides a practical cooling solution for localized AI equipment and supporting thermal management infrastructure.

· Material: SS304

Project Features

The project is designed to reject heat from a water-based cooling loop directly to the outdoor environment without relying on a conventional refrigeration cycle. This makes the system suitable for applications where efficient heat dissipation, simplified system configuration, and reliable continuous operation are required.

With a 7 kW cooling capacity, the unit is configured to handle the thermal load of the AI field application while providing stable heat rejection for the connected water circulation system. The use of water as the cooling medium enables the Dry Cooler to work as part of a straightforward liquid cooling loop, supporting efficient transfer of heat away from AI equipment.

The unit operates on 220V / 1Ph / 50Hz, making it suitable for the specified local electrical conditions. The copper inlet and outlet pipes provide reliable connections for the water circuit, while the DN25 chuck connection facilitates equipment installation and connection with the associated piping system. Key connection components are manufactured using SS304 stainless steel, providing suitable durability for long-term operation.

As an air-side heat rejection solution, the Dry Cooler can also help reduce dependence on mechanical refrigeration under suitable outdoor conditions. By utilizing ambient air to dissipate heat, it provides an energy-conscious approach to thermal management and can be integrated with different liquid cooling configurations according to project requirements.

Project Significance

The application of Dry Cooler technology in AI infrastructure demonstrates the growing importance of efficient heat rejection as computing density continues to increase. For AI field deployments, cooling systems need to balance thermal performance, equipment reliability, installation flexibility, and operating efficiency.

The system provides a compact and practical solution for this South Korean AI application, supporting stable heat removal while maintaining a relatively simple system configuration. Its water-based cooling loop, compact electrical requirements, and standardized piping connections make it adaptable to localized AI cooling scenarios.

This project further demonstrates VENTTK’s capability to provide customized dry cooling solutions for AI and data center thermal management applications, helping customers build reliable and efficient cooling infrastructure for next-generation computing environments.
