Project Overview

To meet the high-density cooling requirements of an AI data center in France, VENTTK provided a large-scale Dry Cooler solution equipped with a spray system, supporting a total cooling capacity of 35 MW. The solution is designed for continuous heat rejection in AI data center environments, where high rack densities demand reliable and efficient cooling infrastructure.

Project Features

The project adopts high-capacity Dry Coolers, with each unit providing up to 1,700 kW of cooling capacity. Using a 30% ethylene glycol solution as the cooling medium, the system is suitable for low-temperature operation and helps maintain stable heat transfer within the outdoor cooling loop.

The integrated spray system provides additional heat-rejection capability under high ambient temperature conditions. By enhancing the heat transfer process when required, the system can help maintain cooling performance during periods of elevated outdoor temperatures, which is particularly valuable for large-scale AI data centers with continuous thermal loads.

With a 400V / 3Ph / 50Hz power supply configuration, the equipment is designed for compatibility with the project's electrical infrastructure. The modular deployment of high-capacity units also enables the overall 35 MW cooling system to be configured according to the data center's cooling demand and infrastructure layout.


Project Significance

The rapid deployment of GB300-based AI infrastructure is driving a significant increase in data center power density and heat generation. Traditional air-based cooling approaches can face greater challenges as thermal loads continue to rise, making efficient liquid-side heat rejection increasingly important.

For this 35 MW French AI data center, VENTTK's Dry Cooler solution with spray-assisted cooling provides a scalable approach to outdoor heat rejection while reducing dependence on conventional mechanical refrigeration. The project demonstrates VENTTK's capability to deliver high-capacity cooling equipment for next-generation AI data centers and contributes to the development of more efficient and adaptable thermal management infrastructure.
