Project Features

The use of 56% ethylene glycol provides enhanced freeze protection, which is especially important for cooling systems operating in Russia’s cold climatic conditions. The selected cooling medium helps reduce the risk of freezing during low-temperature operation and supports more reliable year-round system performance.

The heat exchanger is constructed with TP2 copper tubes and high anti-corrosion aluminum fins. This combination provides efficient thermal conductivity while improving the durability of the heat exchange surface. The anti-corrosion fin design also helps protect the equipment during long-term outdoor operation.

In addition, the threaded connection design facilitates installation and maintenance, allowing the dry cooler to be integrated efficiently into the plant’s existing cooling circuit.

 

Project Significance

The dry cooler uses an air-cooled heat rejection principle, transferring heat from the glycol solution to the surrounding air without consuming process water. This configuration is particularly valuable for industrial facilities where water availability, maintenance requirements, or operating conditions make conventional water-based cooling less practical.
